A hidden gem in the jungle

From the warm welcome at check-in to the exceptional excursions, our stay felt like a true escape. The snorkeling adventure was unforgettable, and we adored the friendly staff who catered to our every need, making our anniversary trip incredibly special.

However, service at the restaurant could be a bit slow during peak hours, which occasionally dampened the experience. The absence of a mini bar was also a disappointment for late-night snacks.

The excursions were enjoyable, but the check-in was outside, attracting bugs.

We had a fantastic week filled with unique adventures like snorkeling and kayaking. The spacious casita was perfect for our family, and every meal was delicious. Special thanks to the amazing staff who genuinely made our experience unforgettable, especially Mario and Isaac!

In my wife’s opinion, the pool area could benefit from additional shade for kids.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but the fascinating dining experiences made it worthwhile.

my stay at the explorean exceeded my last visit to cozumel. the excursions were fantastic, including memorable snorkeling experiences and fantastic food offerings. the casita was beautifully surrounded by nature, which provided an excellent atmosphere for relaxation.

The casita was comfy with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a nice balcony. We loved the spa services like the full body massage and hot tub. The food was impressive, especially the ceviche from the beachside joint. Plus, the outdoor pool area was perfect for chilling after snorkeling. Highly recommend trying the Asian restaurant at the sister property.
